Notice of Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Hikairo Annual General Meeting for 2024
The Annual General Meeting for Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Hikairo (AGM) will be held on Saturday the 20 July 2024. The AGM details are as follows:
Date: 20 July 2024
Venue: Waipapa Marae, Kawhia
Time: 10 am to 3.30 pm
Lunch: 12.00 pm

Meeting arrangements in a time of COVID
To help keep our whānau safe, particularly our elderly, our young and those of our loved ones who are immune compromised we will be following the advice provided by the Ministry of Health for large meetings.
Please only attend the meeting if you are double vaccinated, preferably with a booster. We are relying on our whānau to only attend if they are double vaccinated – vaccinations protect not only the individual but others around them.
If you are sick, please stay at home and look after yourself. Fortunately, you will be able to access the meeting via the zoom link which will be in operation.
To help our members be informed and up to date before the meeting the majority of the documents required for the meeting will be available on the Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Hikairo website page from Saturday 6 July 2024.

The Executive appreciates that some members are unable to access the internet to register. We have developed a manual process for members to use. The document that they need to complete and return to the secretary will also be available on the website from the 6 July 2024. If you require a manual form to be sent to you, please text 021 668 728 with your mailing address and we will send you the form for you to complete

The return of the Proxy form, Nomination form and Registration form is due 12 July 2024. The Secretary must have these forms by 10 pm 12 July 2024. The return addresses for these forms are:

For those who wish to consider being nominated for one of the Officers Roles or one of the Executive Committee Roles, please remember that the constitution was changed at the 2022 AGM to increase the term from 1 year to three years. The Secretary and two Executive Members terms will be ending this year, and may stand for re-election.
