Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Hikairo Annual General Meeting for 2024 UPDATE
Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Hikairo wish to provide an update on the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Saturday 20 July 2024. We apologise for the delay in providing the AGM documentation, but a critical committee member has been unwell. We have also had to make other arrangements for a venue due to the closure of Waipapa Marae for repairs. The AGM details are as follows:
Date: 20 July 2024
Venue: Pūrekireki Marae, 408-124 State Highway 39, Pirongia
Time: 10 am to 3.30 pm
Lunch: 12.00 pm
Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Hikairo have booked Pūrekireki Marae from 4pm Friday 19 July 2024 to midday 21 July 2024. Whānau will be able to stay on the Marae. Could you please email me to advise if you are staying at the Marae so we will have numbers for catering.

The zoom link for hui is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84461257525. We will have the appropriate audio-visual equipment available to enable those who are unable to attend in person to participate in the AGM hui. The zoom link will open at 9:45am so if you could join then and be ready to start at 10am.

2023 AGM Minutes
Due to the illness of our critical Committee Member, the minutes will be available by Friday 19 July 2024 and published on our website. The minutes will also be available in hard copy at the AGM hui. Those attending the meeting virtually please refer to the electronic version of the minutes. Again, we apologise for the delay in providing this information.

AGM Registration

The Executive appreciates that some members are unable to access the internet to register. We advised the manual process for members to use. The document was published on 17 June 2024. There will be copies of the registration form at the hui but if those attending virtually could email a copy prior to the start of the meeting then that would be appreciated.
Proxys, and Nomination Forms
The Proxy and Registration forms were provided on the 17 June pānui. The return of the Proxy and Registration Forms is due 12 July 2024. The Secretary must have these forms by 10 pm 12 July 2024. The return addresses for these forms are:

For those who wish to consider being nominated for one of the Officers Roles or one of the Executive Committee Roles, please remember that the constitution was changed at the 2022 AGM to increase the term from 1 year to three years. The Secretary and two Executive Members terms will be ending this year and may stand for re-election.
