Notice of Te Runanganui o Ngati Hikairo Annual General Meeting for 2023
The Annual General Meeting for Te Runanganui o Ngati Hikairo (AGM) will be held on Saturday the 17 June 2023. The AGM details are as follows:
Date: 17 June 2023
Venue: Waipapa Marae, Kawhia
Time: 10 am to 3.30 pm
Lunch: 12.15 pm
Meeting arrangements in a time of COVID
To help keep our whanau be safe, particularly our elderly, our young and those of our loved ones who are immune compromised we will be following the advice provided by the Ministry of Health for large meetings.
- Please only attend the meeting if you are double vaccinated, preferably with a booster. We are relying on our whanau to only attend if they are double vaccinated – vaccinations protect not only the individual but others around them.
- If you are sick, please stay at home and look after yourself. Fortunately, you will be able to access the meeting via the zoom link which will be in operation.
To help our members be informed and up to date before the meeting the majority of the documents required for the meeting will be available on this page from Monday the 15 May 2023.

Strategic Plan
A Strategic Plan has been developed by the Runanganui as outlined in the 2022 AGM. The Chair will review the current plan with the Membership. The Strategic Plan itself will be published with the majority of the AGM papers on 15 May 2023.
Manual Process for Registration
The Executive appreciates that some members are unable to access the internet to register. We have developed a manual process for members to use. The document that they need to complete and return to the secretary will also be available on the website from the 15 May 2023. If you require a manual form to be sent to you, please text 021 668 728 with your mailing address and we will send you the form for you to complete
Due date for Registration Forms, Proxys, and Nomination Forms
Returns for Proxy Forms, Nomination Forms and Registration Forms is 9 June 2023. The Secretary must have these forms by 10 pm 9 June 2023. The return addresses for these forms are:
